Bio:

The Rob Woodcock Quintet is a dynamic and polished jazz group that has been playing around the Bay Area since 2021. They released their debut album “GoGo7” in 2023 and are regulars at venues such as Mr. Tipple’s, Bird and Beckett and the Ocean Ale House. The music has improvisation at its core and exhibits a tight combination of soulful hard bop, warm bossas, and pulsating beats. The trumpet/bari sax front line combo of Henry Hung and Charlie Gurke can at once conjure feelings of afrobeat, classic and avant-garde jazz.
