Do you serve food?
Do you take reservations? / Ticket Policy
Reservations are tickets, and are available at MrTipplesSF.com/resi.
Prepaid reservations and cover charge for walk-ins go towards supporting the musicians on stage.
Ticket sales are final and can not be refunded. With prior notice, reservations can be rescheduled for to a future date when available.
Reservations are not a credit towards food and beverage. There is a $20 per guest food and beverage minimum.
Reservations are for 90mins from the START of your reservation time. After 90mins, guests will be asked to move to bar seats or standing room. Depending on reservation time and band break schedule, your reservation may be in the middle of a band set. We welcome you to enjoy the remaining music from from the bar area to allow for the next reservation to be sat on time.
Please arrive on time. Reservations will be released after 15min.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive AT your reservation time.
Your table will most likely not be ready early. Furthermore, we may be at capacity preventing guests from even joining us for standing room.
Reservations are for 90 minutes from the start of your reservation time, we often can’t extend end times. If you are late, please let us know, we’ll attempt to accommodate as availability allows.
Corkage?
Yes we can welcome outside bottles of wine, not represented on our list. $40/750ml
Can I pick my seats? What are the differences in seat types?
Tables are assigned by section, not specifically selected.
All groups of 2 will be sat at low tables.
All groups of 4 and 5 guests will be sat on high top tables, and a mix of back and backless stools.
All groups of 6 and larger will be sat in The Opium Den, the alcove near the bar.
Preferred Section
These tables are up close to the stage, great sight lines and best sound in the house.
Standard Section
Further back and around the sides. It’s a small room, so still an intimate feeling and delicious sound.
Bar Seats
Front row for the cocktails! Further back, mix of sight lines and speakers deliver the music to you.
Opium Den
A semi-private hideaway near the bar. This alcove provides groups more intimacy. Limited view, yet speakers bring the sound of the band to you.
Our tables are a mix of table height and bar height. Our chairs are a mix of full back and backless. If you have mobility issues, please advise in your reservation notes.
Do you take walk-ins?
Bar Seats and standing room are available for walk-ins.
When available, walk-in seats are $15/person.
Is there a drink minimum?
No, but kinda. There’s no drink min, but yes, we require all guests to spend $20 on Food and / or Beverage. If this minimum spend is not meet, the shortfall will be charged to card on file.

Our cocktails are delicious. Please do be safe when making and planning driving decisions.
Is there a dress code?
No specific dress code, and we’re eager to welcome everyone as they are. Many guests do take the opportunity to dress up and have an elegant night out on the town. We recommend keeping it classy and elegant: Cocktail Attire.
What’s your sound policy?
We’re a club focused on good times and great music. In that order. We expect guests to join us in celebrating music, not gossiping. In hushed voices, guest can talk during. However, guests are asked to use their whisper voices and stay engaged. We’re not social house, nor a concert hall.
Please do applaud with enthusiasm. Clap after solos. Drive the energy of the band.
Ticket Waiver
This ticket is a revocable license and may be taken up and admission refused upon refunding the purchase price appearing hereon and is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Holder of this ticket (“Holder”) voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the music event for which this ticket is issued whether occurring prior to, during, or after same, including, but not limited to, contracting, and/or spreading the COVID-19 virus, and agrees that the organization, venue, presenter, agents, participants, or musicians are not responsible or liable for any injuries, sickness, or death resulting from such causes. Holder acknowledges that the COVID-19 pandemic remains a threat to individual and public health, COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease transmitted through human contact and respiratory droplets (including through the air and via common surfaces) and it is possible that Holder may contract COVID-19 while at the event for which this ticket is issued. Holder agrees by use of this ticket not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event to which this ticket is issued. Breach of the foregoing will automatically terminate this license. Holder agrees that the license comprised by this ticket may be removed and Holder may be ejected from the event for which this ticket is issued in the event that Holder violates any law, ordinance, or venue regulation. Holder grants permission to the organization sponsoring the event for which this ticket is issued to utilize Holder’s image or likeness in connection with any video or other transmission or reproduction of the event to which this ticket relates.
All Ages?
Yes, Mr. Tipple’s is all ages.
Do note, there is still a $20 per guest expected spend on food and/or beverage.
Lastly, there is a menu of great non-alcoholic cocktails.
Gift Certificates
At this time, Mr. Tipple’s does not offer gift cards.
A work around that others have found successful:
Since our reservations are pre-paid tickets, you can purchase tickets in the receiver’s name. Then, Tipple’s and the receiver can sort out any details necessary for rescheduling to their preferred date.
Also, if you are feeling particular generous, you can include a pre-paid bottle of champagne during the booking process. It’ll be waiting at the table for their arrival. Classy.

COVID-19 Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver
As a precondition to your admission onto the premises of Mr. Tipple’s (“Company”) for any music event you and Company agree to the following:
You understand that Company has endeavored to comply with applicable governmental and public health guidance to create a safe environment for staff, performers, attendees, and other visitors to the Event. You understand that COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease transmitted through human contact and respiratory droplets (including through the air and via common surfaces), that it is possible that you may contract COVID-19 while at the Event, and that contracting COVID-19 could lead to sickness or death.
You assume all risk in connection with your admission to the Event. In consideration for Company allowing you admission onto the premises for the Event, on behalf of you and all of your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, you hereby waive and release any and all claims that you could bring against Company, any of its affiliates, or any of Company’s or its affiliates’ respective owners, shareholders, partners, members, executives, officers, directors, employees, or other personnel (collectively, the “Company Parties”) in any arbitration or court proceeding, including any cases arising from the Company Parties’ own negligence, except as prohibited by law. You promise not to sue any of the Company Parties in any court or arbitration based on any claim released or waived hereunder, either individually or as part of any group or class, and further promise not to authorize any other individual or non-governmental entity to pursue claims on your behalf.
You represent and warrant that (a) you fully understand the terms, conditions, and significance of this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver and its binding effect; (b) you understand that you are waiving legal rights and remedies, including but not limited to any negligence or “tort” claims you otherwise could pursue; (c) you are competent to manage your affairs and enter into this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver; (d) you are entering into this COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Liability Waiver knowingly, voluntarily, and without any pressure by any of the Company Parties; and (e) you have not assigned any of the claims waived hereunder to any other person or entity.
